Crispy Marshmallow Brownies
These are a family FAVORITE! David's sister submitted the recipe for a family cookbook and we love it! David has taken these in to work a couple times and once his manager commented to the group that these brownies changed his life.
Brownie Base
| 1 | c | butter, melted |
| 2 | c | Sugar |
| 4 | egg | |
| 6 | Tbsp | Cocoa |
| 1 | c | All-Purpose Flour |
| 2 | tsp | Vanilla |
| 1/2 | tsp | Salt |
Mix all ingredients in a mixer for 2 minutes. They color lightens as more air is added and it changes the texture of the brownies also. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan, cook at 350* for 35 minutes (the recipe calls for 25 minutes, but that just isn't long enough for my oven)
Center filling
| 2 | jars | Marshmallow Cream - 7 oz |
After brownie has cooled, spread marshmallow cream evenly.
Topping
| 1 | c | Peanut Butter - creamy |
| 12 | oz | chocolate chips |
| 3 | c | Rice Krispies Cereal |
Melt chocolate chips. Mix with peanut butter, stir in Rice Krispies. Spread over brownie mix and refrigerate to set. Cut into 1 inch squares.
